We’re forging partnerships with major developers
and building companies as the first name in masonry.
Head Brickwork was formed in 1984 by brothers Tony and Steven Race, both apprentice–trained bricklayers working previously as labour only contractors for major companies on commercial, industrial and housing projects.
Head Brickwork progressed throughout the eighties and into the early nineties, undertaking labour and plant packages for the major companies where a reputation for delivering on time to high standards was accomplished.
By the mid-nineties, labour, plant and material packages were becoming prominent and Head Brickwork embraced this by partnering with Tarmac (now Carrillion) on the Leeds Shopping Plaza and Harvey Nicholls Complexes in Leeds City Centre.
These projects were a huge success and Head progressed into the millennium, forging partnerships on a ‘preferred contractor’ status working with Balfour Beatty, Carrillion, Kier, Wilson Bowden, and many other companies.
Loyalty has been a major factor of Head Brickwork’s success and we have developed the structure of a strong management team.
What’s more, we are committed to training and will continue to recruit apprentices believing it is the only future for our industry.
Our objectives are not to achieve rapid growth but provide a service of continued professionalism towards our clients, ensuring high standards.
At Head Brickwork, we’ve got a proven track record of success in all our projects. If you’d like to partner with us for your next building project, please contact us today.
